On Aug 11, 2018 we said goodbye to my dearest friend Sadie who had been a huge part of our family for almost 18 years. Sadie this day will always stay with me as I held you in my arms with mom and Kyle present and you took your last breath you were so brave but health issues and old age finally caught up with you and now you’re in peace little girl. I know you will always be watching over us and I would like to thank you Sadie for all your love, affection and joy you gave us with always greeting us at the door after work and to all the great walks and talks we had during your stay with us you were one of a kind and we will never find another friend like you.
From the very first time we meet at the pet store the day before Christmas 2000 you were the last one from your litter of brothers and sisters and we took you home and that day changed all our lives for the better as you turned out to be an amazing companion. Your travels took you from Thunder Bay and swimming at camp at One island lake to Vancouver and chasing waves at Ambleside park to Seattle to various times travelling across Canada and the United States, you saw a lot and we had a lot of fun together. Sadie my dear girl my heart aches today and will for a long time but watching you grow old was both sad and painful for us both but you always had time to show us affection even though you were blind and deaf but your amazing sense of smell is how you knew who were present and I will miss your long cuddles we had on the couch and waking up to seeing you next to my bed every morning but our house is very empty now as I walk around and see your beds, blankets and toys though out our home it brings back sadness and happiness.
Sadie time will mend our hearts and again I would like to say thank you for enriching our lives with your love and kindness we will miss you greatly and remember you forever little girl. Love your family
