Katie was an extraordinary cat. French novelist Colette said “There are no ordinary cats” and it’s true. But our Katie-girl was exceptional even among cats. Her expressive voice, large wise eyes, and irrepressible mischief stole the hearts of all who met her. Adopted as a 2-year-old at the Humane Society, she’d found her forever home and filled our hearts with joy for 18 amazing years. Katie was such a sweet little one, who filled such a huge place in our lives and our hearts. She will be especially missed by Gina (her human mom, or main servant), Josh and Trevor, and by Dave, her much-loved ‘dad/servant’ for her final eight years. A special thank you to Dr. Wendy whose deep empathy and genuine gentleness helped us immensely. Goodbye dearest Katie, with the softest fur, we will remember and love you forever, our sweet little girl.
